Terry commenced her career in 1970 at the Chambers which is now at 28 St John Street, before joining Deans Court Chambers in 1987 where she became Senior Clerk.
In 2001 she was appointed Senior Clerk to the Chambers of Robert Smith QC in Leeds before returning to Manchester in March 2006 to take up the position of Senior Clerk at what she considers to be the most prestigious Chambers on the Northern Circuit.
Terry is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks having achieved a distinction in her qualifying examinations and has served for many years as a member of its management committee.
