Chambers are pleased to announce that as from the 1st January 2025 Christopher Melton KC has been elected as new Head of Chambers. Chris succeeds Winston Hunter KC who has perform the role for the last 8 years. Winston will continue in full time practice at Byrom Street.
As previously announced Matt Tudor takes over from Steve Price as head of clerking. Chambers are enormously grateful to Steve for all that he has done, and we wish him all the very best for the future.
On taking over as Head of Chambers Chris said:-
The whole of Chambers owes an enormous debt to Winston and I look forward to continuing the work that he has done and taking forward the plans for Byrom Street’s continued success in working with clients, and supporting wider initiatives in relation to training, and improving access to the Bar.
