James Rowley was lecturing at the Law Society of Northern Ireland to the Clinical Negligence Practitioners Group.

Over 100 members of the legal profession attended Law Society House in Belfast this week for a unique CPD event examining the ‘Special Loss in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Cases’.The CPD event was part of the 2023 Clinical Negligence Series organised by the Clinical Negligence Practitioners Group of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

Those attending had the opportunity to hear from several keynote speakers including James Rowley KC on the ‘Serious Personal Injury Litigation – Quantum Updated to 2023’. Also presenting was Nicola Niblock, Director with ASM Chartered Accountants who spoke on the “Preparation of the Special Loss Claim: Practical Advice on Proofs and Pitfalls”.

Both presentations provided essential information for practitioners involved in high value personal injury cases as well as clinical negligence claims.
